Can I wash a bathroom mat in the washing machine?

I have one of those soft fuzzy bathroom mats that you step on when you get out of the shower. Can I wash it in the washing machine? Or what is the best way to wash it?

You can wash it, but if it has a rubber backing, you don't want to put it in the dryer.

first was afta purchase has to be hand washed. then you can wash it in the washing machine.

yes you can just wash it on a slow cycle and then don't dry it.I hang mine to dry on a laundry rack. I have also washed my small rugs this way.On cold water and a slow cycle.

I wash mine weekly, but put it over a clothes line to dry.

of course u can wash it in a washing machine, along with overcoats, rugs, sleeping bags, blankets, etc. etc. (the dry cleaning busines is a bit of a scam) only problem with those little bathmats is that they are often cheaply made junk and fall apart after a wash or two.

yes

Yes, put it in on the gentle cycle. Dry it on low for just a few minutes to get its shape back and then hang it up to dry the rest of the way.

You can defintely wash it in the washing machine :-)

You can certainly wash it in the machine. I suggest the gently cycle with warm or cold water. Hang to dry. You can refluff the bath mat by rubbing you hand across it several times or take it outside and shake it.

depends on the style... If it is one with the rubber noslip bottom, you should treatit as a carpet, and vacuum and spot clean or upholstery clean. If all it is made of is cotton or other high pile material without rubber on the bottom you can wash it in the gentle cycle, but i wouldn't put it in the dryer unless you know it won't shrink or ile up. Just air dry. A washer will wear out the rubber after just a few washes.

Wash in washing machine as usual and dry on low setting.

Absolutely! If you're in any doubt use the gentle/delicate cycle and air dry it, don't put it in the dryer if it has any rubberization on the bottom, the heat of the dryer would ruin it.

yes you can,i do mine every week, on a 40degree wash.

I always wash mine in the washer. And put it outside to dry.

Yes. But I would wash it by itself.
